Kuvarica: Zdrav doručak/ A healthy breakfast

Pokušavam se zdravo hraniti. To znači da ću više vremena provoditi u kuhinji i tražeći hranu po dućanima, ali nadam se da nešto pametno stavljam u sebe takvim odabirom.
Daleko od toga da ne jedem stvari iz pekarne-jedem, ali jako rijetko.
Često mi se desi da vrtim dvije, tri kombinacije za doručak, naviknem se i imam toga i kuhinji, pa ni ne razmišljam o alternativama. Proso sam otkrila pred par godina kad mi ga je kolegica s posla nahvalila. Proso je zahvalna hrana. Može se kombinirati s puno stvari. Kad sam ga guglala, saznala sam da je lužnat, da pomaže crijevnoj mikroflori i osobama koje boluju od artritisa, te da ima dosta željeza.
Ima sitno, tvrdo zrnje, kojem je dovoljno manje od deset minuta kuhanja.

I try to eat healthy. I tmeans I spend more time in the kitchen and looking for the right food in stores, but I do hope I'll put something good in myself that way.
Not that I don't eat food from the bakery- yes, I do, but not so often.
It happens that I repeat couple of breakfast options, two or three, I get used to them and have all ingredients in the kitchen, so I forget thinking about alternatives.
A work colleague told me about millet a few years ago. When I googled it, I've found it is a very healthy food. It is easy to combine it with other stuff. Millet is alkaline, helps people fight arthritis and has much iron in itself.
It takes about 10 minutes to cook it.
 Za to vrijeme usitnite bademe, ili orahe. Ili, ako vam se ne da i bademi vam lete po kuhinji, usitnite ih pola. Ja u ovo znam ubaciti i grožđice, kad ih imam doma. Dodate dvije velike žlice meda i pol naranče, isjeckane na komadiće. Dodate vrući kuhani proso, i voila! Topli doručak, slatko kiselkasti, a zdrav! Dugo nakon jela ste siti.

While the millet is cooking in the water ( or soy or rise milk), prepare sliced or chopped almonds or nuts, 2 big spoons of honey and half an orange, chopped into small pieces. At the end add the cooked millet, and voila!- you have a healthy warm breakfast, sweet and sour. You shouldn't feel hungry after it a long time.

  1. samo da znate, ja sam kuhala u vodi, ali super je i na sojinom i/ili rižinom mlijeku, onda ima slatkast ton!
