Summer has come to Zagreb. On Saturday it was so fine, but Sunday was already too hot and too humid. I have showered already three times today.
In the afternoon was finally acceptable to go outside and have a coffee. So we decided to to go to Sava bank, to a terrace bar. I went with my bike there. The whole bank was full with bikers, runners and walkers. So nice to see so many people doing some kind of a sport.
If you 're walking along the bank, you can see many sculptures standing in the grass. This one, these two colorful legs, is my favorite. I don't know who made it and it's name, I only know I like it much. My friend says the legs remind her of some women from her region in Serbia, but I think it is more like a sailor's wife or some cartoon lady. No matter what the right answer is, the legs are a great way to add some color and smile to the city.
Besides a few bridges ( one is a railway bridge, another one for pedestrians and bikers only), there are some boats, or should I say "boats". Boats are actually some kind of houses very close to river Sava. In one of these objects was a pub many years ago, back then while I was in college and went out
On the other side of pedestrian's bridge, there is a small monument, reminding the passerby this is the place where Napoleon's Illyrian provinces ended.
