Čak sam dio dana nosila i haljinu.
Sunday morning was cloudy, and, surprisingly, a bit warmer, but later it came back to the old, cold weather. For a while I even wore a dress. On our way from the hotel to the old center we saw this beautiful garden that smelled so good. I was told it is glicinia, and even I with my allergies, could smell it.
This is a view from Rialto bridge, the oldest one in Venice. Too crowdy, if you ask me. also, if you still ask me, there are more beautiful places to be seen there. But, I don't want this to turn out to be a trip without the usual sightseing, so here's Rialto, and below more known places.
The whole town is full with such houses, with interesting details. I always wonder about storied behind the curtains, who had lived there and what were their lives like..
While walking along these small streets, one time we came right into the Canal Grande. On the other side were beautiful palaces, colorful, so we sat on the stairs by the sea and enjoyed the sun. It wasn't often we could see the sun, and we needed a break since we have walked every day more then 8 hours.
